After many tests and countless ER visits, on October 21st 2025, my sister Margarita was diagnosed with stage 2 cervical cancer.
Keeping God in front and her family beside her, my sister entered her therapy sessions with high hopes of one day ringing the victory bell and starting anew.
Sadly, the cancer remained and eventually spread locally. We were advised that a second round of chemotherapy would be needed and with haste.
By early August 2026, I watched my sister get completely emaciated, bedridden, left barely able to speak, and a tumor that had grown twice in size since her last visit.
As my Maggis cancer continued to grow, her cancer team reached the point where they bluntly told us there was nothing more they could give her to help fight or shrink the tumor…
Ultimately, on August 30th 2026, around 11pm, my sister’s long painful battle with cancer came to an end. She was 45, leave’s behind a hardworking husband, 3 kids and 2 precious cats.
I love you Maggi.
Today, tomorrow, always and forever.
