This is Paul (Florence’s son). Mom passed away on 3/25/2025 at the age of 103. She was a Navy nurse during WW2. After getting out of the Navy, she married the love of her life, Tony, and had 4 boys. She ran a successful business while raising her children. After her husband died, I brought Mom down to Florida to live with me. Because of her dementia, she needed constant care. I had 4 loving ladies who took care of her like she was their own mother. Through 9 years of COVID, sickness, and an amputation of her toe, they stayed with me, even though Mom became harder to take care of in her last 2 years.
These ladies not only lost someone they had become close to but are now looking for work, and I am asking for family and friends to say thank you with a small donation.
Everyone says I did a great job taking care of Mom, but I couldn’t have done it without them.
“What greater thing is there for human souls, but to be joined for life, to be with each other in silence and unspeakable memories.” – George Eliot (Mary Ann Evans)
Whatever is donated, I’m adding to it.
Thank you,
Paul Postighone
