Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
Our hearts are completely broken by the sudden and tragic passing of Julie Woods, who lost her life in a devastating car accident on Friday, August 28. Julie was a bright light in our lives—an incredibly loving mother, a devoted wife, and a deeply caring friend who ALWAYS put her family first.
She leaves behind her husband, Mike, and their two young children, Barbara and Michael. As this sweet family navigates this huge loss, they are also facing severe, immediate financial stress.
The car accident completely destroyed their family vehicle. It wasn’t just their transportation; it was also how Mike and Julie earned a living working for DoorDash.
We are coming together to lift some of the financial burden so they can focus on healing.
Donations from this fund will go directly to Mike Woods to cover: Final Arrangements, Medical Bills: Immediate emergency room trauma care and ambulance fees from the accident scene; Living Expenses for the next few weeks while the family is out of work; and hopefully, making a downpayment on a reliable used replacement vehicle so Mike can return to work and care for the kids.
