Chantara Nop was born and raised in Cambodia, surviving the Khmer Rouge in 1979, and brought to the United States in 1981. Chantara has left behind 5 kids: Thomas Nop, Nancy Nop, Justin Nop, Sterling Nop, and Jasmine Nop, along with his wife, Ravy Morrath, and two grandchildren, Kendall Nop and Cyrus Sok. On March 30th, 2025, cancer has taken a toll on him and he has taken his last breath.
