Our community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Mirjana and Dzevad Dizdarevic, who tragically passed away following a house fire in Bluffton, South Carolina, on August 25, 2026.

Mirjana, 71, and Dzevad, 73, were beloved members of their neighborhood. Although many neighbors may not have known them closely, they knew them as the couple whose porch was always surrounded by cats and who were a familiar presence in the community.

Their sudden passing has left their family facing an unimaginable loss, while also having to deal with the difficult circumstances that follow such a tragedy.

We are asking our friends, family, neighbors, and anyone who feels moved to please come together and support the Dizdarevic family during this incredibly difficult time.
