Support Nery Jasso After Baby Titi’s Loss

Hi, I’m Kelly Cabrera and my best friend Nery Jasso endured every parent’s worst nightmare on May 22, 2024, when she had to make the final decision to let her baby go. Since birth, Nefertiti (Titi) has been through surgeries, rigorous medical procedures, and was in desperate need of a liver transplant. Her condition only worsened. After not finding a successful liver donor in time in San Antonio, she was transported to Texas Children’s Hospital. Her lungs also suffered damage, and doctors learned she also needed a lung transplant on top of the liver. This took a toll on her little body, and doctors then had to intubate baby Nefertiti. Nery had to make the hardest decision any mother would ever have to make and didn’t want to see her baby suffering any longer. As any parent can imagine, this is heartbreaking. Most of Titi’s life was lived in a hospital room and Nery never left her bedside for over 8 months and during this time has not been able to work and had to make the decision to sadly close her restaurant in order to be by her baby’s side. My goal is to help Nery pay for the funeral expenses, giving her one less thing to worry about during this difficult time. Above all, we ask for prayers of strength and comfort.
