Support Mya’s Family After Tragic Loss

On June 13, 19-year-old Mya Carlton tragically passed away after being neglected in isolation while in custody. Despite repeatedly pleading for help, she was ignored, left unmonitored, and ultimately lost her life due to systemic failures.

Her family was not informed for over 24 hours, and her suffering was entirely preventable. Now, we are demanding answers and pushing for critical reforms to protect others facing mental health struggles in custody.

We ask for your support in laying Mya to rest. Donations will go towards Mya funeral expenses and let’s make awareness efforts ensuring this never happens again.
