Mariah and AJ are facing every parent’s worst nightmare after the heartbreaking loss of their 4-year-old son, Ashton Palone. Ashton had such a big love for pools and water, especially the pool at home that he loved so much. On August 27, 2026, this family’s world changed forever when Ashton was found in the backyard pool. He was rushed by ambulance to Clifton Springs Hospital in critical condition, and shortly after arriving, he was mercy flighted to Golisano Children’s Hospital. Ashton fought for 5 days in critical condition before he sadly passed away at about 11:24. No family should ever have to endure a loss this sudden and devastating.
This fundraiser is to help Mariah and AJ with funeral expenses for their baby boy and to give them a little relief as they grieve this unimaginable loss. Right now, they need the space to mourn Ashton without the added weight of financial stress.
