Support for the Codina Family After Tragic Loss

Main fundraiser photo
Our family has suffered a sudden, and tragic loss with the passing of Stephanie (Guerrero) Codina, and her son Antonio ‘Daddio’ Codina. Their lives were taken when their vehicle was struck by a semi-truck, while they were parked on the side of the freeway. The devastation of this accident has torn apart the hearts of their family, friends and all who knew them.

Steph was the girliest boy mom and cherished her 3 sons with all her heart. For Steph, being a mother was her greatest blessing and all of her boys adored her.

Stephanie was fortunate to share a beautiful life with her husband, Tony, by her side. They have shared in the their love for the Lord, creating a loving home for their children. Steph and Tony’s love for one another was evident through their memories shared with all of us.

Daddio (Antonio) just celebrated his 11th birthday, and though his birthday was very different this year, he was thankful to see his 11th year. Just a few short months ago, Daddio was diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia and has been brave in his fight to get better. Our warrior still warmed our hearts with his soft voice, infectious laugh and warm smile.

Daddio was the ‘baby’ of the family, a tough momma’s boy. He loved his parents, brothers, and family with his whole heart. Daddio loved spending time with his cousins, and friends. He was lucky to have such a great group of buddies, both at school and on his football team. He missed being on the field and in the classroom, and he was so excited to be able to return to school this upcoming August.

We don’t know why, or how, this could happen to these two beautiful souls. We are completely broken and praying to find a way to carry on without Steph and Daddio. Tony and the boys (Isaias ‘Cito’ & Jonah) will need comfort and prayer as they attempt to navigate through life without them.

We humbly ask for your help in giving Stephanie & Antonio ‘Daddio’ Codina, a beautiful memorial to honor their lives. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.

Please keep our family in prayer. We thank you and love you.
