My mom is on hospice with liver failure, and this has been one of the hardest things our family has ever faced. Watching someone you love go through this is heartbreaking, and it is difficult to put into words what this time has been like. Right now, the focus is on being there for her, surrounding her with love, comfort, and support while making the most of the time we have together. At the same time, our family is also carrying the painful reality of preparing for what comes next, which has brought both emotional and financial stress.
This fundraiser was created to help with funeral and burial services so that some of that burden can be eased during this incredibly difficult time.
