Support Billie Fink in His Fight Against Cancer
Our friend Billie has recently been diagnosed with Stage 3 Colorectal Cancer. As he begins the difficult journey ahead including intensive treatments, procedures, and recovery we are rallying together to support someone who has spent his life lifting others.
Billie is not just a friend to many he’s a true giver. An extraordinary individual with a heart of gold, Billie has always put others before himself. Whether helping friends through tough times, supporting local causes, playing in benefit events, or being a driving force behind the Giants Despair Hill Climb each year, Billie has shown up for people again and again often quietly, and without expecting anything in return.
During the isolation and uncertainty of COVID, Billie began posting a “Song of the Day” on Facebook a small but meaningful act that brought comfort, connection, and a bit of light to so many. To this day, he continues that daily tradition, sharing music to lift our spirits, even while facing his own struggles.
Now, it’s our turn to show up for him.
We are setting a goal to raise $10,000 to help ease the overwhelming financial burden of medical bills and treatment-related expenses. Our hope is to relieve some of the stress so Billie can focus entirely on healing and recovery without the constant worry about how to cover the cost of care.
