Hello everyone, it is with great sorrow to announce the passing of baby Kai on 06/03/2025.
Kai was born with a genetic disorder called holoprosencephaly. He had a very severe case and was not expected to live beyond minutes after birth. However, Kai ended up defying the odds and came home with his twin sister, where he fought for 7 long days before his tiny heart could endure no more. For seven days, we all fell so deeply in love with baby Kai and would like to do right by him by providing his mommy and daddy the burial that Kai deserves. This is just the first step in a long road to healing a mother’s broken heart. If you would like to donate any amount, Michi and the family would greatly appreciate your generosity and support.
All donations will be covering funeral expenses, and in the unlikely scenario anything extra is donated, it will go to Michi to help care for Kai’s twin, Kailah, as both parents have been out of work for a while.
