This fundraiser is for Andrea Myles, Vaughn Hamilton’s mother, and the Hamilton family as they face an unimaginable loss. After recently separating from the Army, Vaughn tragically died by suicide, leaving his loved ones heartbroken and now facing painful, unexpected expenses. The focus of this fundraiser is to help Andrea carry some of the financial burden during this devastating time, so the family can focus on grieving and honoring Vaughn’s life instead of facing these costs alone.
The funds raised will help cover about $13,000 in funeral home expenses, along with the additional costs connected to Vaughn’s Jeep. The Jeep was left on post at Firestone while it was being repaired, and the family now needs help completing those repairs and having the vehicle shipped from Fort Polk to New York, which is estimated to cost about $7,000.
