My name is Shaneka Murphy. We are trying to raise funds to bury my uncle-in-law, Amos Harold Blue, who tragically dropped dead Tuesday afternoon, June 10th. He had no life insurance. He and my aunt Marlene Murphy were illegally thrown out of their home, which they have owned for over 35 years, with no eviction case and no court date to prove their case. They have a decree from a judge saying they own the home and don’t owe anymore, but they still drew up illegal eviction papers to have them removed from the property so that the people who illegally bought it could have access to it. The last time Harold was seen alive, he was standing on his sister’s porch looking worried and stressed. I suppose that’s from being thrown off of his property that he worked his whole life to pay for and also from knowing that they were supposed to have all of their stuff out that next day or it would belong to the people who purchased it illegally. A few hours after he was last seen, he was gone!
His wife Marlene called the sheriff’s department to see if they could get some of Harold’s belongings from the property (THEIR OWN PROPERTY!) to sell to help pay for his funeral expenses, but they were told no they could not on January 12th. His cars have disappeared from the yard and there’s a dumpster outside. There is plenty there that could cover the cost of his funeral if they had access to it. We are asking for any possible donations from anyone who can donate to help cover the cost of his funeral. No amount is too small. We are grateful for whatever we can raise.
