Hello, my name is APRIL PATTERSON.

I am a single mother, Hard worker, extremely dedicated to family.

I Received a phone call yesterday afternoon stating that my mom was found unresponsive I was told that they was giving her CPR and sending her to the hospital.

Story!!!

The facility had to be told by another residence to go check on my mother because she had been all in bed all day. When they went in there at 5:00 PM to check on my mother she was already deceased when EMS got there was nothing left to be done, they had already tried to resuscitate her with no luck. The facility did not get in contact with me in regard to my mother until 5:31 PM, upon arrival to the hospital they had no idea where my mother was. I then place a call to the Facility to be told we have no idea where they have taken her.

6:30 i then See a ambulance pull into the emergency Bay. A nurse then runs to me letting me know Shes been found!

She proceeds to tell me to come to the family room and wait my heart sank into my stomach to only be told from a doctor that never seen my mom that she passed in route to the hospital, and they done all they could and was already sent to the morgue and i am not able to see her.

I am at a loss for words loss of trust and the unimaginable betrayal

Seeking Justice for Neglect at Somerset Court of Cherryville

I placed my mother in Somerset Court of Cherryville, believing it would be a safe and caring environment for my mom Tragically, that trust was betrayed. The neglect and lack of proper care they experienced not only caused immense suffering but led to my mom Laying in her bed deceased. The unknow is for how long the day of her death. This is something no family should endure.

Neglect in assisted living facilities is a grave injustice, and i am determined to hold Somerset Court of Cherryville accountable for their failure to provide the care they promised. This is not just about seeking justice for my loved one but also about ensuring that no other family suffers the same pain.
