I got that unexpected call last weds saying he was gone ……. I am learning a lot about his struggles since his wife passed. He was lonely and he got preyed upon given promises of love and attention not knowing he was being scammed like a lot of elderly are. His power got cut off a week prior to his death and his insulin couldn’t be refrigerated and he ended up throwing it away. He wrote a note asking to contact me regarding his death and now I’m on my way to New Mexico with so many questions that I’ll never get a answer to. I am asking for help to honor my dads wishes to be cremated. I have never pictured both my parents gone and nows when I need them more than ever. I have 4 more days to get the money to cremate him and put him to rest. I’m struggling myself and now I’m 2000 miles from home and I’m overwhelmed with how to do this by myself. I love you dad and you will be missed and Im sorry I wasn’t there to help you through your struggles but I know your smiling now that all that weight and worry is off you. I’ll see you again one Day!!!!
