Saying Goodbye to Donna Jean Bayer, the Heart of Our Family

Help Us Honor Our Grandmother’s Final Wishes

Our grandmother, Donna Jean Bayer, has been the heart of our family for as long as we can remember. She took in not only her children and grandchildren when they were struggling, but also friends and neighbors —offering her home, her strength, and her love during some of the hardest times in our lives. She was our protector, our comfort, our constant. Now, she is in the final days of her life; we are spending this time by her side—holding onto every moment and preparing to say goodbye.

Our mother and aunt are now facing the pain of losing their mom, while also carrying the weight of preparing for her passing without the financial means to do so. We are all trying to be present with her in these final days, to hold onto her and each other—but the reality of the expenses ahead is heavy.

Donna didn’t have life insurance, and none of us have the savings to cover the cost of her cremation. We’re asking, with humble hearts, for help. Any contribution—no matter how small—would go directly to her final expenses and allow us to say goodbye with love and dignity.

If you aren’t able to give, even sharing this or keeping us in your thoughts means the world.

Thank you for reading, for caring, and for honoring the woman who held our family together for so long.

With love,

The Family of Donna Jean Bayer

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
