Roy Calvin Ward

My name is Tina and I am reaching out for help to fulfill my Uncle Roy’s wishes. Unfortunately, he gained his wings on June 1st unexpectedly. He was a second dad to me. He is a disabled vet who was very proud to serve his country. Jesus was his everything. Any and everyone who knew him would say he was very kind-hearted, loved his family, and was determined to protect those he loved. He would go to war with anyone over Jesus and his cats. Many thought they could get over on him; well, you didn’t. Each time he gave you gas and you tried to make him think he only gave you 20 yet you were taking hundreds from him – it was a test he made clear God would deal with you. I was told the VA would cover his funeral; well, I found out they reimburse only a portion of it. His wishes were to be buried with our family, NOT burnt. Unfortunately, times are hard which leads me here. If you could find it in your heart to help us put him to rest, it would be greatly appreciated. We are very grateful for those who have reached out to atleast check on us it means a lot.
