Shawn Kinder, or Hillbilly as many knew him, had so much life left to live. His infectious laughs and sometimes terrible jokes left everyone he met feeling like they were part of the family. When Shawn wasn’t busy working, he was busy being a loving papa, husband, and friend. He didn’t even have to know someone to volunteer his time to help anyone out that needed it. He was one of the good ones. I think it’s fair to say our family will never be the same without him.
While Stacy (his wife) and the rest of our family try to grapple with this unexpected tragedy, there’s an unfortunate logistical side to death that needs to be considered too. You never really know how much a funeral or memorial service costs until the unthinkable happens, so here we are. Anything you can contribute when it comes to helping will be appreciated more than you know. Anything not spent on his memorial will be donated to his wife, Stacy, to help her transition in her time of grief.
On Saturday, April 12th, we plan to celebrate his life at the Mongol’s clubhouse. During this celebration, there will be a slideshow of pictures, BBQ, a food truck, and more. I will make sure to post more details as they come.
