Remembering Bubba’s Warmth and Laughter

Main fundraiser photo
With heavy hearts, we share that our beloved brother, son, uncle, father, and cousin, Anthony Dazzo, known as Bubba, has passed away unexpectedly on June 14, 2025, due to depression causing suicide. Bubba was a caring presence to everyone he met—with a bubbly smile that could light up any room and a jokester’s charm that had everyone laughing. Bubba’s warmth and humor were gifts he shared with all of us that we will cherish forever. His warmth, generosity, and bright spirit touched countless lives, and we mourn the loss of such an incredible person far too soon.

Creating a meaningful farewell for Bubba is our way of honoring his life and the love he shared with all of us. Unfortunately, this tragedy happened in Florida, and Bubba needs to be brought back to Chicago where his family is. Funeral and burial expenses have placed a significant burden on our family at a time when we’re processing this sudden loss. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward giving Bubba the dignified and peaceful rest he deserves. If you’re unable to donate, you can still help by sharing Bubba’s story with friends, family, and on social media. Your kind words, memories, and prayers mean the world to us during this difficult time.

From the bottom of our aching hearts, thank you for any support you can offer. Together, we can honor Bubba’s memory and give him the farewell he so richly deserves.

— On behalf of the Dazzo family
