Hello, my name is Vickie. I am a friend of the Lang family. I met Andrea in 2011 through her daughter Kate (Kat) Thompson, who went to Job Corps with my son. I knew then that Andrea was a pretty unique & special lady & was happy to get to know her.
She became part of our family when Kate married my brother-in-law, Robert Pittman.
I am here writing to request help from the friends & family of Andrea Lang.
She was diagnosed with Stage 4 Small Cell Carcinoma Cancer on 2/14/25. And by 5/30/25, she was gone from this earth.
The family has been struggling to keep up with all the bills that have been adding up with the hospital visits, ambulance rides, and medicine.
They are only a single-income household at this time because they only have one car & live in a rural area with the nearest Walmart 45 minutes to an hour away.
If you could find it in your heart to please help a family in need. They were not expecting this to happen as soon as it did. The original diagnosis was giving her at least a year to live the rest of her best possible life & make sure her family truly knew how much they were loved by her. Andrea loved her family with a beautiful fierceness that every mother/wife knows.
