Patricia, a Ojibwe low income elder passed suddenly in her home.Her family is fundraising in hopes of meeting the needs for funeral costs that would allow them to honor her memory and obtain her remains post cremation. Her daughter worked as her care worker until Patricia’s passing, despite the daughter managing her own health issues related to multiple sclerosis. Prior to Patricia passing the family has also struggled with financial hardship including houselessness. Our hope is to relieve additional financial and emotional stressors.
This is an incredibly difficult time and any funds at all are appreciated. Please help us put to rest and honor this grandmother as this family mourns the kind and lovable person she was.
