louis Paul, a man in his early 40s had lived with type 2 diabetes for over a decade. He’d always been diligent about his diet and medication, but the disease had taken its toll. His feet, once strong and capable of carrying him through his days, now ached with neuropathy, and his vision, once clear, was becoming increasingly blurry. He missed the simple joys of life, like going for a walk in the park or reading a book without squinting. His sister, Sarah, watched him with a heavy heart, knowing that their time together was dwindling. One day, after a particularly difficult bout of low blood sugar, louis slipped into a coma, and despite the best efforts of the medical team, he passed away peacefully in his sleep, leaving Sarah heartbroken and grappling with the reality of a life without him. Louis is loved by many and will never be forgotten.
