In Memory of Rocky: Aid for His Father

Main fundraiser photo
The picture is of a man named Rocky, who had a heart of gold (or sounds gross but a heart of sweat). He never would let me take a pic of him but did get this one of his sweat one day at the swapmeet & proved to me that he had the biggest heart ever. He would do anything for anybody if asked, sometimes U didn’t even have to ask. Rocky started getting sick in the latter part of February, his body looked like he’d put balloons everywhere, but stubborn, he wouldn’t get it checked out. About 3 weeks later he fell off his bicycle, still swelled up. He just went home hurting. A few days later he went to hospital & had emergency surgery on a broken hip. He seemed to be healing but slow process. The swelling was still there to. He told me that the hospital said it was caused by his liver & that they had to drain it from his stomach once a week. I hadn’t talked to him for a few days & the hospital called on Sunday the 18th 5 minutes after he had passed away & told me he had a coronary attack. He was a great friend & is already dearly missed by many of us here at the swapmeet. His father is still living & is in need of financial support as he himself is 90 years old & on a budget. I’m asking all my family & friends & anyone else who has a caring heart to please help. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. God bless you all.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
