In Loving Memory of Our Sweet Slayden Dean Raines ️
There are no words that could ever prepare our family for having to write something like this. Our sweet Slayden Dean Raines fought so incredibly hard for 21 days.
From the moment he entered this world, his tiny body was fighting battles no baby should ever have to face. He experienced complications involving his kidneys, lungs, heart, and other vital organs. For 21 days, he fought through every obstacle placed in front of him. His doctors and nurses worked tirelessly, while our family prayed, hoped, and believed with everything we had for a miracle.
For 21 days, we watched our precious Slayden fight for his life. Every little bit of progress gave us hope, and every setback broke our hearts. Through it all, he showed a strength that we will carry with us for the rest of our lives.
Sadly, after 21 days of fighting so incredibly hard, our sweet Slayden gained his angel wings. There are no words to describe the heartbreak of losing a baby who was so deeply loved, especially while knowing there are so many memories, milestones, and moments with him that we will never get to experience.
We are starting this fundraiser to help relieve some of the financial burden our family is facing during this unimaginable time. After 21 days in the hospital, our family is facing medical expenses, funeral and memorial costs, travel expenses, and other unexpected expenses that come with such a devastating loss.
Our hope is to ease even a small part of that burden so our family can focus on grieving, healing, and honoring the beautiful life of our precious Slayden.
