Hi, I’m Hope. I started this fundraiser for my sister-in-law DeAnna and her husband Archie Hardwick. DeAnna sadly passed away June 13th from Adrenal Carcinoma, which was only diagnosed two days before she passed.
DeAnna was a kind and selfless person who loved Archie, her kids, and grandkids more than anything. She was always willing to help others; she did not judge you for what you had or didn’t have. She was a good and kind soul. Archie and DeAnna have been married 25 years and built their lives together. She had her son Josh and daughter Mindy, and Archie had his daughters Bridgette, Bri, and son Steven. Together they have 7 grandkids that they love dearly.
2 weeks ago , she was not feeling well and went to the hospital with abdominal pain. 3 days ago, she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. Patients with this specific type usually get 3-6 months. Her time was drastically shorter… days that turned into hours.
It is difficult for anyone to lose a spouse, mother, or grandmother. Her family had 13 days from the time they went to the hospital and only 2 days after the diagnosis to process that their wife and mother had terminal cancer. That’s a lot to process in a very short amount of time!
My heart goes out to my brother and their kids. I can’t imagine having to process all they have been through in these past few days. I want Archie and the kids to know they’re not alone. Your contributions will help cover unexpected medical expenses and funeral arrangements.
