William Mathis, aka Punk, was a great man known and loved by many. Punk was a man who, no matter what, tried to do all he could for those he loved. He was the type of person to give someone the shirt off his back in times of need. He was the type of man to go through hell and back to make sure his family had what they needed. Those who knew him knew that if they needed something, all they had to do was ask. He might have griped for a minute, but he would try his best to help in any way possible.
On Thursday, August 27th, 2026, Punk was called home to be with the Lord. He passed unexpectedly, leaving the family with the unexpected funeral costs, hence the reason for this fundraiser. Any funds donated will go toward cremation and, if possible, a memorial service for friends and family to honor and say goodbye to the man that they loved.
