In Loving Memory of Ronald “Ron P” Purite
Ronald Purite, lovingly known as Ron P, was a father, brother, and family man who meant so much to the people who loved him. As the oldest male in our family, he carried a special place in all of our hearts. He was one of the strongest men we knew and always found a way to show up for the people he loved. Our family affectionately called him “The Wolverine” because of his strength and his will to keep fighting. Even through difficult times, personal battles, and a serious disease that challenged his body, Ron P continued to fight. He outlived many expectations and lived to see 70 years of life before his body finally began to shut down.
His insurance policy helped cover most of the funeral expenses, but our family is still raising a small amount to help with the remaining burial costs and give him the honorable homegoing he deserves. During this incredibly difficult time, we are asking anyone who knew, loved, or was touched by Ron P’s life to please consider supporting our family. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help us lay our father, brother, and loved one to rest with the dignity and respect he deserves.
