Hi, my name is Connie. I never imagined I would have to writer these words about my little sister.
With a broken heart, I am asking for your help following the heartbreaking and unexpected passing of my beloved younger sister, Joanna.
Joanna was so much more than my little sister. She was a daughter, a mother, an aunt, a friend, and someone who was deeply loved by the people around her. Losing her has left a pain that words cannot describe.
The greatest heartbreak is knowing that Joanna’s daughter now has to face life without her mom. No child should ever have to experience that kind of loss, and as a family, we want to do everything we can to surround her with love and support.
We have created this fundraiser to help cover the Joanna’s funeral and final expenses, and to provide financial support for her daughter as she navigates the difficult days, months and years ahead.
Our family is facing the tremendous emotional and financial weight of losing Joanna so unexpectedly. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help us give Joanna the farewell she deserves and help provide her daughter with some security during a time when her world has been turned upside down.
