It is with shattered hearts that we share the passing of Ashley Golden, a vibrant and beautiful soul, daughter of Brian and Crystal Golden, who tragically lost her life far too soon.
On May 31, 2025, Ashley passed away after succumbing to severe injuries sustained in a devastating accident. Following the accident, Ashley was placed in a medically induced coma due to extensive trauma and a lack of brain activity. Despite the incredible strength she showed throughout her life, this was a battle she could not win.
Ashley’s passing comes just weeks after she endured an incredibly difficult journey with her health. On her birthday in December, she was diagnosed with Influenza A. Though she recovered enough to begin her first semester at Utah State University, the illness progressed into a stubborn sinus infection. What followed were multiple ER visits, a diagnosis of bacterial meningitis, and a blood clot on her brain. She underwent emergency surgery to remove an abscess and spent time in the ICU before finally returning home to recover—stronger and determined, just as she had always been.
To lose her now is simply unimaginable.
This fundraiser has been created to support Brian, Crystal, and the Golden family during this devastating time. The emotional and financial toll is profound—from medical bills and time away from work, to the long journey of grief that lies ahead. Your generosity will help ease some of those burdens so they can focus on honoring Ashley’s memory and supporting one another.
