With heavy hearts, we share the unexpected passing of Martin Earl Levan, known to those who loved him as Marty, on the morning of Tuesday, June 11, 2025.
Marty lived life full throttle. Fierce in his passions and loyal to the ones he loved, he poured his heart into everything he did, especially his work and craftsmanship, which he took great pride in. Whether he was covered in mud from a day out racing or cracking a dry-witted joke to catch you off guard, Marty’s energy left an imprint that won’t be forgotten.
He had a playful spirit and a knack for teasing, always knowing how to make people laugh, even when they didn’t see it coming. He loved a good belly laugh, a cold beer, and time spent with his greatest friends; many of whom he considered family. He was a fantastic friend – dependable, loyal, and always the first to show up when someone needed a hand.
But at the center of Marty’s world was his wife, Carrie. He loved her with a devotion that was both fiery and tender. Their love was the kind that reminded you of the laughter and lightness of childhood, carefree, genuine, and seemingly endless. She was his best friend, his confidante, and the one he lived to make smile. Her heart now carries the deepest loss.
Marty leaves behind a family that adored him, his wife, Carrie; his children, Craig, Samantha, and Kaden; his grandchildren, Ryder and Isla; and his beloved sister, Martina. He is now reunited with his parents, Marvin and Marilynn, in paradise, watching over his loved ones with that same sparkle in his eye and mischief in his grin.
This sudden loss has left a deep void in our family and community. We are raising funds to help support Carrie and the family with funeral expenses and the unforeseen financial burdens that come with such a loss. Any contribution, no matter how small, means the world to us and helps honor Marty’s memory in a meaningful way. Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support as we remember a man who lived boldly, loved deeply, and laughed often.
A funeral service to celebrate Marty’s life will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM and the service at 3:00 PM. A luncheon will follow, where family and friends are invited to gather, share stories and honor his memory.
