I’m raising funds for my father after he got sick quickly and declined rapidly. His passing was unexpected, and my brother and I are heartbroken. Even in the middle of this loss, we want to honor what he wanted, and his wish was to be cremated.
Right now, we only have a few days to figure everything out because the morgue can only hold him for so long. That has made an already painful time even more difficult. We hate to ask for help, but with how sudden this was, we are left with no other options right now.
The funds raised will go toward his cremation costs, which are expected to be between $1,000 and $3,000 depending on the route we take and whether we are able to purchase an urn.
Any donation, no matter the amount, would help us give my father the cremation he wanted and relieve some of the immediate pressure as we make these arrangements in such a short time.
