With a completely broken heart, our family is writing to share the devastating loss of our beautiful Jalen Clements, known to so many in the music community as Tunez Montana, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at the young age of 34, surrounded by the fierce, protective love of his family.
For six grueling months, Jalen fought an incredibly complex medical battle with absolute strength, and while we are devastated by his loss, we are so deeply proud of his fight.
Jalen was a beautiful force of light who loved deeply and touched everyone’s heart in some way. He was a fiercely loyal and cherished son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, friend, and colleague.
He was an ambitious, incredibly hard-working young man who brought joy and laughter to everyone who knew him. Jalen and his mother shared a profound, lifelong passion for music, growing up deeply connected to the sounds, the artists, and the creative spirit of the community. Through his mother’s two decades of dedicated work and promotion within the music industry, they both shared an unshakeable love for the business and the people in it. Because Jalen aka Tunez Montana, and our family are so well known and connected within these circles, his absence leaves a profound, irreplaceable void in the lives of the many people who loved his bright spirit.
Our family is working to organize a beautiful, dignified final service. It is our deepest wish to host an open casket visitation so that his parents, his siblings, his family, and his many close friends and colleagues can see his face, and say our final goodbyes together.
We have set our fundraising goal at $15,000 to help cover the costs of his visitation and final memorial services.
