With broken hearts, we are asking our family, friends, and community for help during an unimaginable time.
Our beloved Jahmeer was only 17 years old. He was someone’s son, someone’s brother, someone’s cousin, someone’s grandson, someone’s friend—and a young life that ended far too soon.
Our family is devastated and trying to navigate the heartbreaking loss of a child while also facing circumstances that make this moment especially difficult. His mother, my daughter, is currently hospitalized recovering from a liver transplant. At a time when they should be focused on grieving their son, they are faced with the overwhelming responsibility of arranging his funeral and saying goodbye.
I am starting this fundraiser because I want to step in and help carry some of that burden for them. We are asking for any support you can give toward his funeral and memorial expenses. No amount is too small, and if you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much to our family.
