Honoring Destiny’s Beautiful Life and Supporting Katie Through This Loss
With broken hearts, we are asking for support for Katie as she grieves the unimaginable loss of her beloved daughter, Destiny. At just 24 years old, Destiny left this world far too soon, leaving behind a family who loved her deeply and a hole in their hearts that can never be filled.
Destiny was one of a kind. She had a huge heart, a beautiful spirit, and a special love for dogs. Training dogs was more than just something she enjoyed—it was something she was passionate about. She had patience, kindness, and a natural way of connecting with them that showed just how loving she truly was.
Destiny also loved dressing up and doing makeup. She enjoyed expressing herself, feeling beautiful, and bringing her own style and sparkle into the world. Those little pieces of who she was—her creativity, her confidence, her caring heart—are memories her family will hold onto forever.
More than anything, Destiny loved her family. She adored her older brother, Jonah, her younger brother, Rya, and her younger sister, Tianna. She was also deeply loved by Katie’s husband, Mike, who loved Destiny like his own daughter and was always there for her. Each of them shared a bond with her that was special in its own way, and they will carry her memory with them for the rest of their lives.
Katie is now faced with the heartbreaking task of saying goodbye to her daughter while also trying to manage funeral and memorial expenses, time away from work, and the many unexpected costs that come with such a sudden loss. No parent should have to carry this kind of pain alone.
