In Loving Memory of Corina
It is with heavy hearts that we share the heartbreaking loss of our dear Corina Andrade, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 30th, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer that lasted nearly two years.
Corina fought incredibly hard. She endured chemotherapy last summer, and although she faced every challenge with strength and determination, sadly, her cancer returned. After making the difficult and deeply personal decision not to pursue another round of chemotherapy, Corina entered hospice care in June. She spent her final months at home, surrounded by the love of her family and close friends.
Corina was a warrior, but she was also so much more. She was loving, kind, generous, and giving. She had a way of touching the lives of those around her, and anyone who knew Corina knows just how much love she had to give.
Corina loved the retail world and was truly gifted at making people feel beautiful and special. She spent many years as a Beauty Advisor at Nordstrom in Walnut Creek, where she formed lasting connections with clients and colleagues and loved helping people find the perfect beauty products and fragrances. She also worked at other high-end retailers, including Neiman Marcus, Perfumania and Bare Essentials. Her passion, warmth, and talent touched so many people throughout her career.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to have known her.
One of Corina’s final wishes was to be cremated and to have her ashes laid to rest beside her beloved mother, Linda, in Fremont. Her family wants nothing more than to honor that wish and give Corina the beautiful and meaningful celebration of life she deserves.
