Honoring Carlos “Cayo” Dimas Sanchez

Christina Dimas - Honoring Carlos “Cayo” Dimas Sanchez

To all reading this, thank you in advance.

On September 1st, 2026, around midnight, Carlos “Cayo” Dimas Sanchez, was rushed to the hospital accompanied by his eldest son and wife. Shortly after arriving, doctors shared the heartbreaking news that Cayo did not make it and had passed away. In the earliest hours of Tuesday morning, his family lost a beloved husband, a strong father, an eldest brother, an honorable son, and a cherished friend to many. He is remembered by his wife, five children, three grandbabies with one on the way, his parents, three younger siblings, and many grieving relatives.
It is without question that Cayo showed tremendous strength throughout his life, and he put up a tough fight until the very end. Words fail to express the tremendous grief cast upon his family, as his loss came suddenly and unexpectedly just a few days before what would have been his 56th birthday. As the family mourns, they must also begin to organize funeral and memorial services, and this fundraiser will help cover those costs during this painful time. Any donations and support would be deeply appreciated and would make a meaningful impact for Cayo’s family. If donating is not possible, prayers, condolences, and the support of the community are also welcomed with gratitude.

May our beloved Carlos “Cayo” Dimas Sanchez rest in eternal peace.
