Obituary for Donald “Bubba” McGoldrick
Donald “Bubba” McGoldrick, a proud father, devoted coach, skilled craftsman, and loyal friend, passed away leaving behind a legacy of strength, heart, and unforgettable memories. He was a man who wore many hats—but above all, he was Dad.
Bubba raised his son as a single parent, guiding him through life with unwavering love, humor, and wisdom. He didn’t just attend every game—he coached them all. Whether it was baseball or any sport in between, Bubba was right there on the sidelines, whistle around his neck, heart in the game and giving Tyler hell.
Before he became “Dad,” Bubba was an incredible athlete himself. His younger years were filled with football glory—he was known for his power, his grit, and his passion for the sport. Off the field, he had golden hands—able to build anything from fences to decks to full houses. He could take a pile of lumber and turn it into something strong and lasting, much like the life he built for Tyler.
Bubba also had a love for cooking, and he was damn good at it. Whether it was throwing down on the grill or putting together a full feast, his food brought people together. His kitchen was full of laughter, good smells, and better stories.
Known for his huge circle of friends, Bubba was the life of the party. He could light up any room, he was always down to crack a joke, share a cold drink, or lend a helping hand. He had a big heart, rough hands, and a soul full of fire.
Bubba didn’t just raise a son—he raised a man. And his legacy lives on in every lesson, every shared laugh, and every memory built around love, hard work, and showing up no matter what.
He was one of a kind—and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know to know him.
Any donations or funds will go the proceeds of Bubba’s funeral expenses and allow to him the resting place that he deserved.
