Naythan was an incredible man. He was the most amazing person, and a great father. He loved hard, was loyal to a fault, and gave his all for the people he loved. Nate was my best friend and my lifeline. He lived with a lot of hurt in his heart, and it only made him love that much harder. He was everything. Over the last few weeks his seizures started to increase, and he began to fear losing himself. I quit my job to be home with him and spend all the time I could with him, but in the end, that time was cut short. We never got to accomplish all of our goals and build the life we dreamt of, but he will always have my heart for the way he loved me and the strength he instilled in me.
Naythan wanted to be cremated—he didn’t want to be left in the dark in the ground. He always thought the worst in himself because of the things in his past. I am working on a memorial to honor the love and respect people have for him for the person he was, not the things he did. And then I’m taking my family home to where we wanted to build that life.
Any help would be greatly appreciated in honoring his wishes.
