Help Us Celebrate the Beautiful Life of My Mom, Josie Crook
On March 16th, 2025, my amazing mom passed away after a short, but brave fight with lung cancer. True to her nature, she made it clear she did not want a traditional funeral. She wanted a celebration—something loud, loving, and full of life, and that’s exactly what we’re trying to give her.
My mom was one of a kind. She loved blasting Rush, swearing like a sailor (with perfect comedic timing), creating beautiful things with her hands, and spending time with her beloved dog Daisy. She lived her life unapologetically and joyfully, and she wanted to be remembered that way—not with tears in a church pew, but with laughter, music, stories, and maybe even a few well-placed f-bombs in her honor.
We’re raising funds to plan the kind of celebration she would’ve truly loved—something meaningful, personal, and full of the people and memories that shaped her world. Anything you can contribute will go directly to honoring her life in the way she deserves.
Thank you so much for your support, love, and kindness.
With love and gratitude,
