Honor Charles Powell Jr.’s Memory

Charles Louis Powell Jr., 64, of Corydon, Kentucky, was shot and killed by a Kentucky Sheriff Deputy on June 9th at 7:30 pm on his mother’s porch. Charles suffered many hardships in his life. He served in the United States Army; he also struggled with mental health and addictions.

On June 9th, Monday, he lost his life at the hands of those vowed to protect us. Mistakes on his behalf were made but met with extreme force resulting in the loss of a human life. Charles is set to be cremated and the funds will be used to purchase a headstone for him and cover end-of-life expenses.
