Hello everyone, one of my longest, dearest friends passed away the morning of June 4th, 2025 after a very long battle with mandibular osteosarcoma. She came to me in May of 2022 asking me questions about mouth pain, (I have dealt with many tooth issues and had to have mine removed) and what I thought about her symptoms. Shortly afterwards, she got the diagnosis. Ashley Groholski put on the fight of her life for 3 long years, on top of being a wonderful daughter, wife, and mother to a beautiful little girl. The cancer spread to various spots, eventually covering her lungs making her unable to breathe, and passed away among family and friends at her bedside. She was always so hopeful, so sure she would overcome this. Treatment after treatment, and surgery after surgery, things would look up, but would always turn right back around. She started getting treatments in Houston eventually as well, traveling back and forth many times. She had expressed to me she was getting very tired, in so much pain all of the time, but she couldn’t give up because Remy was watching. Ashley was such a kind hearted soul, whose smile could light up the entire room in an instant. She is going to be incredibly missed by both family and friends. I’m asking for some help in contributing to the funeral costs and to help out her family during this difficult time. If you are unable to donate, I ask that you please share this so as many people as possible can see this. I can’t imagine the rest of my life without her in it, our dads played in a band together and we became best friends shortly after we met. I hate Remy will have to grow up without her mother, having lost mine myself last December. Friends, family, and strangers, can we come together and try and make things just a little bit easier for her family? Thank you to everyone who took the time to look at this, and for any donations that may be made. Ashley was the toughest girl I know, and will ever meet. But it’s time for her to rest now, and finally be free from pain.
