Support for Katandra Roney, aka Orange Juice
As many of you know, our beloved sister, daughter, and friend, Orange Juice, has been courageously battling stage IV lung cancer. Over a short three months, we’ve watched her face this illness with remarkable strength, faith, and grace. She has been surrounded by deep love—through visits, calls, and prayers that have meant the world to her and our entire family.
Now, as she nears the end of her journey, we find ourselves preparing our hearts and lives for what lies ahead. Her condition has continued to decline, and she is currently receiving hospice care. We are cherishing these final moments with her and honoring the woman she is—compassionate, vibrant, full of light, and always putting others before herself.
Today, we are celebrating Juice’s 48th birthday. It’s a bittersweet milestone, filled with both love and sorrow. We’ve had so many people ask how they can help—your support can help ease the burden we’re facing as we prepare to lay her to rest when the time comes.
Because she does not have life or burial insurance, we are setting up this fundraiser to raise funds to assist with:
• End-of-life expenses and funeral arrangements
• Dignified burial and memorial service
