I am asking for help for my mother after her passing on September 1st. Losing her has been heartbreaking for our family, and we are now facing funeral expenses that we are not financially prepared for. My mom did not have life insurance, and I do not have the money to cover everything on my own. The cost for cremation alone is $3,377, and that would mean we would not even get to see her. To have a viewing followed by cremation is $7,500. On top of that, my mother is in Illinois while all of our family is in Tennessee, so we also need help with travel and gas so we can be there together during this painful time.
My brother, other family members, and I are putting in what we can, but it will not be nearly enough. The funds raised will go directly toward my mother’s funeral expenses and the travel costs for our family. Any support would mean so much to us during this difficult time and would help us give my mother the farewell she deserves. She had a big heart and would help anyone in need if she was able to.
