June 2, 2025, is a day I’ll remember for the rest of my life. My best friend Cody MF Brooks, in my vehicle, was headed from Stinnett to Borger to pick me up from work. I talked to him at 4:23 pm; he told me, ‘I’m coming, I love you faggot,’ and the line went silent. At 4:28, he struck another vehicle that was driving recklessly and hydroplaned into his lane and was pronounced dead at the scene.
I would like to help with any expenses for his funeral and burial arrangements. Also, I would like to help pay for gas and expenses to get his two small children and their mom from Montana to Borger for services and to be with his family and friends for everything taking place with his burial and services. Anyone that knew him knew that all he ever wanted was his family back home with him. He loved every one of his children so deeply. I personally got to witness his sadness over the years dealing with not being in their lives.
All proceeds will go to his oldest son Tyler Brooks and to getting his two younger children here to be with us, also his daughter Karma. I want to make sure everything is covered for them and they don’t have to worry about anything being paid for or the lack thereof. I always tried to make sure and take care of him and do for him in times when he couldn’t or when he needed anything. I loved him so much; there are no words to describe the hurt and heartbreak that each and every one of us is feeling at this time. His loss has definitely made an impact on his family, friends, and the community. He had a heart of gold, and as I type this, my eyes are filled with tears because I want him to be remembered properly, and I don’t want his family nor kids to have to worry about all the things that come with his passing. Please help me to help them give him the proper funeral, burial, and memorial that he deserves. I love you, Cody Lee… RIP..
