This is my beautiful granddaughter, Kora, known to all that loved her as Kora-Q.
Born in Houston, Texas, Kora-Q filled our world with delight; her autism adding a unique sparkle to her personality. She twirled and giggled to “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes,” sang the ABCs, and raced around the house with her beloved dinosaur toys. If she was upset, she immediately calmed down and grinned when we sang Hank Williams. Although mostly nonverbal, Kora-Q did know a few cuss words, though we don’t know where she learned them from…pawpaw. A fearless adventurer, she scaled furniture like a mountaineer, turning couches into her playground.
Kora-Q’s life echoed Psalm 139:14, “fearfully and wonderfully made.” Her love for water, a trait of her unique heart, led to her tragic passing, but we trust she now dances and sings in heaven’s glory, whole and free in Christ’s love. Matthew 18:10 comforts us, knowing her angels always behold God’s face.
Kora-Q, our dinosaur-loving, music-dancing, furniture-climbing, food-stealing, bubble-chasing angel, you are forever in our heart’s melody. Until we meet again in God’s kingdom, we love you always.
We have been fortunate to have a great deal of costs covered and are just needing a little help with some medical, memorial, and other costs we have encountered through this difficult time.
Any help is greatly appreciated and will go directly to honor an angel we were blessed to have loved dearly.
