It is with deep sorrow and heartbreak that we share the passing of our beloved father, Gerardo Vargas Barajas, who left us on June 10, 2025. His unexpected departure has left a hole in our hearts and in the lives of everyone who knew and loved him.
Gerardo Vargas Barajas was more than a father—he was a brother, grandpa friend, a mentor, a protector, and a guiding light. He worked hard every day to support his family, show up for those who needed him, and make people laugh even on the hardest days. He gave so much of himself to others, and now we’re reaching out in hopes of giving something back.
We are raising funds to help cover the costs of his funeral and memorial service, so we can honor his memory with the dignity, love, and peace he deserves. All donations will go directly toward funeral expenses, burial/cremation, and helping our family through this incredibly difficult time.

It brings us peace to imagine that our dad and mom are now reunited in Heaven—two souls who loved deeply, laughed often, and faced life hand in hand. We picture them smiling at each other the way they always did, holding each other close, with no more pain or goodbyes.
Their love didn’t end with this life—it simply transformed into something eternal. We like to believe that Heaven gained not just two angels, but a pair who were always meant to find their way back to one another.
Though we miss them every day, knowing they’re together again brings comfort to our hearts. They’re watching over us now, side by side, just as they were here on Earth.

Con profundo dolor y tristeza compartimos el fallecimiento de nuestro querido padre, Gerardo Vargas Barajas, quien nos dejó el 10 de junio de 2025. Su inesperada partida ha dejado un vacío en nuestros corazones y en las vidas de todos los que lo conocieron y lo amaron.
Gerardo Vargas Barajas era más que un padre: era un hermano, un abuelo, un amigo, un mentor, un protector y un faro que nos guiaba. Trabajaba duro cada día para mantener a su familia, estar ahí para quienes lo necesitaban y hacer reír a la gente incluso en los días más difíciles. Dio tanto de sí mismo a los demás que ahora queremos devolverle algo.
Estamos recaudando fondos para ayudar a cubrir los gastos de su funeral y servicio conmemorativo, para poder honrar su memoria con la dignidad, el amor y la paz que se merece. Todas las donaciones se destinarán directamente a los gastos del funeral, el entierro o la cremación, y a ayudar a nuestra familia en estos momentos tan difíciles.
Ninguna cantidad es demasiado pequeña, y cada gesto de apoyo, ya sea económico o de otro tipo, es profundamente apreciado. Si no está en condiciones de donar en este momento, compartir esta campaña significaría mucho para nosotros.
Nos da paz imaginar que nuestro padre y nuestra madre ahora están reunidos en el cielo, dos almas que se amaron profundamente, rieron a menudo y enfrentaron la vida de la mano con sus altas y bajas. Los imaginamos sonriéndose el uno al otro como siempre lo hacían, abrazándose, sin más dolor ni despedidas.
Su amor no terminó con esta vida, simplemente se transformó en algo eterno. Nos gusta creer que el cielo no solo ganó dos ángeles, sino una pareja que siempre estuvo destinada a encontrar el camino de vuelta el uno al otro.
Aunque los extrañamos todos los días, saber que están juntos nuevamente nos reconforta el corazón. Ahora nos cuidan, uno al lado del otro, tal como lo hacían aquí en la Tierra.
Gracias por tomarse el tiempo de leer sobre nuestro papá. Lo extrañaremos más de lo que las palabras pueden expresar y lo recordaremos siempre con amor.
