Hi, my name is Carlos, and I’m raising $5,000 to help my family through the immediate expenses surrounding my mother’s passing.
I never imagined I would have to write these words or ask for help laying my mother, Pauline, to rest. My heart is shattered after losing my mom, and while I’m still trying to process the fact that she’s gone, my family and I are now facing the difficult responsibility of giving her the farewell she deserves.
The funds raised will help with funeral home and burial expenses, the memorial service, transportation and travel costs for our family, flowers and other arrangements, and additional unexpected expenses that come with laying a loved one to rest. Any remaining funds will go toward helping our family handle expenses directly related to her passing as we grieve and begin moving forward.
My mom was more than just my mother—she was a part of my heart, my story, and my life. Watching her battle serious health complications and ultimately having to say goodbye has been one of the most painful experiences of my life.
Asking for help during such a vulnerable time isn’t easy, but I don’t want finances to stand in the way of properly honoring my mom and giving her the beautiful farewell she deserves.
