It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Brenda Rodriguez, a beloved daughter, mother, sister and friend. Brenda was just 36 years old when she left us far too soon, due to complications related to heart and kidney issues that went unnoticed for too long.
Brenda was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, but for the last 13 years, she called San Antonio, Texas her home. She was truly one of a kind, a rock music lover with a sharp mind, a straight-A student, and someone who left an impression on everyone she met with her vibrant spirit and laughter.
But more than anything, Brenda was a mother to her 10-year-old daughter, Girasol — her pride and joy. Girasol is now facing a heartbreaking loss that no child should have to endure. Losing a parent at such a young age is life-changing, and our community is coming together to surround her with as much love, care, and support as possible.
We are asking for help to cover the costs of Brenda’s funeral, the transfer of her body back to CA, and memorial services. Your contribution will go directly toward honoring her life with the dignity she deserves and supporting Girasol through this devastating time.
