Hi, my name is Patrice, and I’m the oldest daughter of Patrick J. Purvis. On behalf of my siblings and our family, I’m asking for help as we prepare to lay our beloved father to rest.
Our family is heartbroken by the sudden and unexpected passing of our father, Patrick J. Purvis.
If you knew our dad, you knew he was funny, hardheaded, loving, and most importantly, he showed up. Whether it was a wedding, graduation, birthday, or another major moment in our lives, you could count on Dad being there. He was there for his children, and he was there for his grandchildren.
One of the things we will miss most is his storytelling. He had a way of telling a story that made you feel like you were right there with him. We’ll miss the random songs he would make up out of nowhere, his sense of humor, and his love for good music. His playlist could go from hip-hop to R&B at any moment—you truly never knew what was coming next. ❤️ Those little things are now memories we will hold onto forever.
His passing happened so suddenly on what seemed like a normal day, and our family was not prepared for how quickly everything would change.
As we prepare to lay our dad to rest and honor his life, our family is currently $3,000 short of what is needed for his final arrangements. We are asking anyone who is able to help us reach this goal. Any amount, no matter how small, would mean so much to our family during this time.
